What is wheat germ?

Wheat germ is the part of the wheat berry that's responsible for the germination and development of a new wheat plant. It makes up 2-3% of the entire wheat kernel.

What's the nutritional benefit of wheat germ?

This small part of the wheat plant remarkably provides more nutrients, iron and potassium per ounce than almost any other grain or vegetable. It has more B vitamins than any other food except liver.
