Our Carmel Minced TVP is perfect to add to meals such as meat sauce, hamburgers, and meatballs. Before cooking, rehydrate TVP in vegetarian stock or water. If making a meat sauce, add in the dry TVP right into the sauce and let cook.

Simmer in your favorite vegetarian broth or tomato mixture for enhanced flavor. Great to use as hamburger mix, meatballs & meat sauces. Carmel Minced TVP 

Looks like real ground beef, without the fat, cholesterol, and grizzle.  Easy to use, make Great-Tasting Meals – No fat to pour off.  Use for meat sauce, hamburgers, meatballs, or for any recipe that calls for ground beef or ground veal.

Directions:  Simmer 8 ounces of Carmel Minced TVP in 8 ounces of vegetarian beef broth or water (to yield 1 pound of meat substitute) for 10-15 minutes stirring frequently (until soft).  Use in any dish requiring minced beef.  Yields 8 servings.

Note: If making a meat sauce, you can add the dry TVP right into the sauce and let it rehydrate as it simmers.
