Similar to Tofu, TVP absorbs all the flavors of the ingredients you cook with & is similar to chopped meat. Our “Beef” Like Crumbles are perfect to add to meals such as meat sauce, lasagna, chili, tacos, and more. Before cooking, rehydrate TVP in vegetarian stock or water. If making a meat sauce, add in the dry TVP right into the sauce and let cook.

Ground Beef Like Vegetable Crumbles

Looks like real ground beef, without the fat, cholesterol, and grizzle.  Easy to use, make Great-Tasting Meals – No fat to pour off.  Use for meat sauce, stuff shells, lasagna, chili, tacos, shepherd’s pie, or any recipe that calls for pan browned ground beef.

Directions:  Simmer 8 ounces of Beef-Like Crumbles in 8 ounces of vegetarian beef broth or water  ( to yield 1 pound of meat substitute) for 10-15 minutes stirring frequently (until soft).  Use in any dish requiring minced beef.  Yields 8 servings

Ingredients:  Soy protein concentrate, wheat gluten, malt color, and wheat starch

If making stews, soups, and or meat sauce,  you can add the dry TVP right into the sauce and let it rehydrate as it simmers.
